1. More than one account cannot be opened in the same name without the special consent of the Bank.

  2. Except under special circumstances, account may not be opened in the name of Companies, Corporation or Association etc. provided that Saving Accounts may be opened by registered Co-operative Societies subject to the following condition. Each Society will be permitted to maintain only one such account with the Bank provided however that the number of account may be increased for specific purpose with approval of the Co-operative Department.

CONDUCT OF ACCOUNTS:
  1. An account may be opened with a minimum sum of Rs. 10/- tendered in cash thereafter in order to keep the account running Zero-balance can be maintained.

  2. Only cash will ordinarily be accepted for credit of such account. The Bank will not understand collection of cheque or other instruments for credit of such account , unless they are drawn payable to the account-holder himself / herself and unless the account holder is personally known to the Bank or has been properly introduced to Bank.

  3. No Deposit for less than Rs. 10/- shall be accepted.

  4. Interest will be accrued at the rate(s) prevailing from time to time on the minimum balance that lies to the credit of an account between the close of the 10th day and last day of each calendar month computing every whole sum of Rs. 100/- and on a sum up to but not exceeding Rs. 5, 00,000/- as a general rule. Interest payable on balance exceeding the limit fixed as per the clause will be determined by the bank on the merit of each case.
